NEEMA GOSPEL CHOIR SHINES BRIGHT AT THE TANZANIA GOSPEL MUSIC AWARDS 2025

To God be all the glory!” These were the heartfelt words echoed by Neema Gospel Choir as they celebrated an unforgettable night of victory at the Tanzania Gospel Music Awards (TGMAs) 2025, where they proudly secured four major awards, marking a moment of great honor and spiritual triumph for the entire team.

Organized by the Tanzania Gospel Music Awards (TGMA) under Mahali Sokoni, this prestigious event was held at the Mlimani City Conference Hall in Dar es Salaam on Friday, 23rd May 2025. The glamorous awards gala brought together gospel artists and music industry stakeholders from across the nation. The Guest of Honor was the Deputy Minister of Communication Science and Technology, Hon. Eng. Maryprisca Winfred Mahundi, who praised the influence of gospel music in inspiring moral values and spiritual growth in society.

Neema Gospel Choir was crowned in the following categories:

1. Best Gospel Choir/Band of the Year – Neema Gospel Choir*
2. Best Gospel Song of the Year – “Nikurejeshee”
3. Best Praise Song of the Year – “Nikurejeshee”
4. Best Gospel Collaboration of the Year – “Chukwu Oma” ft. Rehema Simfukwe

Representing the choir on stage to receive all four awards was Mr. Titus Alfred, the Secretary of Neema Gospel Choir, who also heads the Media, Business Development, and Logistics Departments. Speaking on behalf of the group, Mr. Alfred expressed deep gratitude to God, the organizers, fans, and supporters:

3. Best Gospel Music Producer Leader of the Year – Fredrick Masanja (for the song “Nikurejeshee”)
4. Best Gospel Music Director Leader of the Year – Fredrick Masanja (for the song “Nikurejeshee”)
