The secretary to Media, Logistics, Planning, and Development. This position contributes directly to the 3rd and 4th objectives of the strategic plan: “Strengthening the relationship between the choir and the community, including the use of Media” and “Designing and creating development strategies in the choir committees”.

 

Media Coordination:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for media-related inquiries and requests.
  • Facilitate the coordination and scheduling of interviews, appearances, and performances in media outlets (TV, radio, etc.).
  • Assist in the development and implementation of media strategies to promote the choir’s events and initiatives.
  • Maintain a database of media contacts and manage the distribution of press releases and promotional materials.

 

Logistics Management:

  • Coordinate logistics for choir rehearsals, performances, and events, including venue bookings, equipment setup, and transportation arrangements.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth execution of logistical aspects, such as sound system setup, stage arrangement, and seating plans.
  • Assist in managing inventory and procurement of necessary supplies and materials.

 

Planning and Development Support:

  • Support the planning and execution of development strategies for the choir’s committees, working closely with committee members to identify goals, action plans, and progress tracking.
  • Assist in the coordination and documentation of meetings, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and distributing relevant materials.
  • Contribute to the creation of fundraising campaigns and initiatives to support the choir’s growth and community outreach.

 

Communication and Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including contact lists, meeting minutes, and event documentation.
  • Coordinate internal communications within the choir, disseminating relevant information and updates to members and committees.
  • Assist in preparing reports and presentations related to media engagement, logistics, planning, and development activities.
